I’m Mary-Anne,
your personal trainer

My name’s Mary-Anne Cameron. I’m a qualified personal trainer and fitness coach. And I work as MacFit PT, putting my passion for fitness and exercise to good use helping other people.

But I didn't always love exercise. For years I chased quick fixes, yo-yo dieted, and spent a lot of time feeling frustrated. It wasn't until I found something I genuinely enjoyed — combat sports, of all things — that everything changed.

That experience is what I bring to every client I work with. I know what it's like to feel like fitness isn't 'for you'. And I know that the moment you find your thing — whether that's strength training, boxing, or just getting through a session without dreading the next one — everything shifts.

I'm a Level 3 qualified personal trainer based in Helensburgh. I hold additional qualifications in pre and postnatal exercise, spin instruction, and Boxing Scotland coaching, among others. I'm also a black belt in Taekwondo and a kickboxer — which comes up more than you'd think in PT sessions!

I work with clients at Chris Bowman Fitness and Easterhouse Sports Centre, and take classes at Chris Bowman Fitness and for Steven McLaren Martial Arts.

I work with people at all experience levels — from complete beginners to athletes looking for additional coaching support.
